DEALER/VENDOR RULES
2010 - 2011
1.
NO LOADED GUNS.
ABSOLUTELY NO LOADED GUNS ARE ALLOWED IN THE SHOWS. All guns must be tied during show hours. This
includes concealed carry and any dealer side arms. NO exceptions.
All guns will be tied whether brought by a dealer or the public.
2.
NO LOOSE AMMO. No loose rounds of ammunition may be on your
tables. Likewise, ammunition may NOT be
placed in any clip, magazine, cylinder, chamber, or barrel. Ammo must be boxed or placed in sealed
plastic bags. NO loaded magazines or
loose ammunition will be allowed to be brought into the show by any attendee.
3.
CUSTOMER FIREARMS.
Every firearm which a customer brings in to the show will be checked and
tied at the front desk and a special sticker will be placed on the
firearm. No vendor may handle or
offer to buy any customer’s firearm that does not have this sticker and tie,
verifying it was at the front door and is NOT stolen. During show hours, it is the responsibility
of every vendor to immediately report to our security staff any firearm not
stickered and/or tied.
4.
CANCELLATIONS.
No refunds or credit will be given on tables canceled less than 2 week
before the show or for anyone who is a no show for any reason (including
weather). Credit only will be given for the
next show if you inform us at least 14 days prior to the show that you will
not be coming.
5.
GUN STICKERS.
Each Dealer/Vendor selling guns will be issued customized color coded
stickers (available at the front desk) that must be placed on any firearm you
sell. Without this sticker or a detailed
and dated sales receipt, your customer will not be allowed to leave the
building with a firearm. This will
enable us to verify that the gun has been purchased, and not stolen from
someone’s tables. It is the dealer's responsibility to pick up gun stickers at the front desk prior to the opening
of the show, and as you run out and need more.
6.
PROHIBITED ITEMS.
Yellowstone Gun and Knife Shows LLC retains the right to have any
exhibited items it deems to be in poor taste or otherwise inappropriate (in its
sole discretion) to be modified or removed.
This includes but is not limited to explosives, bombs, incendiary devices,
pornography, or illegal items of any kind.
7.
SECURITY. We
provide 24 hour security for all shows. However, it is the dealer’s
responsibility to secure all items on your tables. We strongly encourage (but not require) you
to use glass cases for small valuable items and security cable locks on any
handguns that are displayed outside of a glass case.
8.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS. By exhibiting any items at our show, you agree to abide by all local,
State, and Federal laws as well as all show rules. Safety is our primary concern.
9.
SUBLETTING OF TABLES.
There will be absolutely NO subletting of tables without prior approval
of one of the show managers. In the
event that you are given permission to sublet any portion of your tables, you
are personally responsible for the merchandise and actions of your sub lessee.
10. SALES
TAX. Dealers/Vendors are responsible for collecting this
tax. A STATE SALES TAX
DIVISION may have representatives attending shows in an official capacity.
11. SET
UP TIMES. Dealers/Vendors will be allowed to set up
Friday at 9:00 am. In addition
exhibitors may set up Saturday morning from 8:00 am until 9:00 am. All vendors must have their booth ready
and aisles completely cleared by the time the show opens to the public.
12. SHOW
HOURS. The show hours are from 2:00pm until 7:00pm
Friday, 9:00am until 7:00pm Saturday and 9:00am until 3:00pm Sunday. You are required to stay the entire time the
show is open. If you have an emergency
and must leave, please contact Yellowstone Gun and Knife Shows LLC personnel.
13. NO
SHOWS. All tables must be occupied by 2:00pm Friday
unless prior arrangements are made. Any
tables that have not been claimed by 2:00pm Friday will revert back to the show
and may be given away or resold. No refund will be given. Any
vendor that reserves tables and does not attend will be required to prepay for
all tables at future shows. If you have a problem on
the way to the show and are going to be late, please contact Yellowstone Gun
and Knife Shows LLC personnel and we will work with you.
14. FAILURE
TO FOLLOW RULES. Failure to follow these rules may lead to
eviction from the show and banning from future shows. In such event no refunds will be given.
Show Hours:
Show hours are from 2:00pm – 7:00pm Friday, 9:00am – 7:00pm Saturday and
9:00am – 3:00pm Sunday.
Dealers/Vendors are required to remain open during all show hours –
It is in the contract you signed. We
work very hard and spend a lot of money each show to ensure that you have good
crowds. All that we ask is that you
remain open during the hours we advertise to the public. From this point forward if you are not
willing to remain open for the entire show then you will not be allowed to
continue setting up at our shows. Of
course we will work with you if there is an emergency situation and you need to
leave.
Insurance: While
it is not required to attend our shows, we strongly recommend that you purchase
liability and product insurance.
Sold Out:
We typically sell out a few weeks in advance of each show. Because we never want to have to turn away
any of our regular or semi-regular dealers, we strongly suggest that you make reservations at least 3 weeks in
advance to ensure that you get a table.
Please do not assume that we know you’re coming unless you have made
specific reservations. For reservations or to confirm table space
please call 307-347-2100.
New Security Procedures:
Please be aware that if you sell guns you will need to place one of our
customized stickers on the gun so that your customer can get it out the
door. The stickers can be obtained up
front. Also please make sure to place
the sticker firmly on the gun.
Alternatively, your customer can use their sales receipt to get the gun
out the door. Finally, in an effort to
increase security, only dealers/vendors with appropriate badges will be
permitted to enter and exit through all doors during setup and at the close of
shows. During show hours, only
the front entrance can be used. Dealer badges will be provided at check
in (2 Badges per table with maximum of 3 Badges). Everyone else will need to enter and
exit through the front.
Set Up Times:
Dealer/Vendor set up times are from 9:00am until 2:00pm Friday and
8:00am until 9:00am Saturday. If you
have not checked in by 2:00 pm on Friday your tables will be re-sold (unless prior arrangements are made).
Yellowstone Gun and
Knife Shows LLC is not responsible for loss of merchandise nor injury or death
due to misuse of firearms and knives at the shows.
